I agree on Ben's site being a good resource. Interesting that he currently is NOT recommending FTM for the Mac due to various problems.
ReplyDeleteI have followed his video tutorials and he has good information. However, I would recommend your electronic filing system as opposed to the one he teaches.
I also find his approach to fields in Sources to be a bit too detail oriented and trying to follow Elizabeth Shown Mills. Fine if you are a professional Genealogist selling your services but for most of us I prefer the simplified approach in which Sources include enough information to find the document again.
